It actually from cicada (蝉(せみ)).
oh yes this is what I wanted to say! There are soooo noisy! It's impressive! I think it's even worse than South of France! Well in France they sound better! ahahah

And, it's good to know French caicada sings better: do they sound like orchestra? :p
Reminds me of some miyazaki movies, when you hear really loud cicadas on the countryside :).
